“Based on a True Story,” written by Jess Bowers, one of our recently hired English faculty members, has been selected as a finalist for the 2015 Salamander Fiction Prize. This is the second time that one of Jess’s stories has been selected as a finalist at Salamander: A Magazine for Fiction, Poetry, and Memoirs.

New Double Major in Communication and English

The Communication faculty and English faculty have designed a new double major for students: Communication and English.

The English Faculty have added three new interdisciplinary tracks to the English major:  Narrative Arts, Fantasy & Science Fiction, and Video Literacy.
