During the Fall 2013 semester we will be conducting the LIVESafe campaign focused on addressing issues of interpersonal violence.  The effort to designate interpersonal violence issues for a campaign is to assemble and coordinate the efforts of multiple individuals and organizations at Maryville with the goal of fostering greater cooperation and impact on our campus and in the community.  The campaign will host a variety of activities throughout the 2013-14 academic year.  The campaign seeks to:

 ·      Provide a variety of activities to engage the campus at all levels of knowledge and sophistication;

·      Include curricular, co-curricular and non-curricular activities (e.g. classes, lectures, panel discussions, community activities, projects, on-campus simulations, movies);

·      Involve faculty, staff and students; Include all academic units of the university; Collaborate with community organizations;

·      Involve multiple groups and organizations including: MSG, residence halls, student organizations, Paw Print, alumni, Duchesne society, Schools/College and Center for Academic Success and First-Year Experience; and

·      Be fun, informative, motivating and empowering.
