Archeological Field Work in Greece
Professor Todd Brenningmeyer – Group Leader  

Students (both majors and non-majors) will accompany Professor Brenningmeyer on one of two exciting field experiences. (1) the region of Eleia where they will be surveying Frankish citadels and architectural ruins located in the mountains of the western Peloponnese (some sites have only been visited by shepherds and a handful of explorers) & (2) the island of Karpathos where they will begin the first non-Greek investigation in decades: a survey of a Byzantine harbor town.
