About Kids Rock Cancer,
Kids can rock cancer! Our program offers an emotional outlet and vehicle of self-expression for children battling cancer and other blood disorders, by providing a session of music therapy with a certified music therapist who helps them compose and record their own song on a CD. Kids Rock Cancer is under the direction of the Music Therapy program at Maryville University and is currently offered at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center and Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis. Partner with us to make a difference through the healing power of music therapy—one step at a time!
Kids Rock Cancer Team Benefits include:

How do I join?
Please pledge to either raise or donate funds at one of the following levels or raise funds as part of the Maryville Student Team:
- - Roadie $125
- - Groupie $250
- - Producer $500
- - Composers Circle $1500*
* Form a team of up to 10 to train, raise funds, and run in honor of a Kids Rock Cancer composer who we will match with your team.
Not A Runner?
Not a problem—you can be a part of the Kids Rock Cancer cheer team!
Be a virtual runner or sponsor a runner by donating at any of our three levels and you will receive a team shirt to wear as you cheer on Team Kids Rock Cancer on race day!

YOU MUST REGISTER WITH GO! St. Louis – this Kids Rock Cancer Team registration does NOT register you for the race.
When you register to be on the Kids Rock Cancer team you will be given a link to the GO! For a Cause page where you can register for the event of your choice at the following reduced registration rates:
- Marathon $85
- Half Marathon – $75
- Marathon Relay – $240
- 5K – $30
