Academic Software/Hardware Addition News

We have had the opportunity to add some great things to our software and hardware inventory.

We have added a campus-wide license to Mathematica. Wolfram, the vendor, calls Mathematica “the world’s ultimate application for computations”. Wolfram has a solid set of training materials on their website, for those who are interested in learning more. Details on installation will be forthcoming

We have also added campus-wide access to our SPSS license and this will allow for off-campus installation onto Maryville-owned computers. SPSS is predictive analytics  software. Details on how to get licenses for the software will be announced as soon as possible.

Finally, this spring we have added 10 iPad 2’s to the fleet we have, so that now we have 20 for class-use checkout. The form to reserve these devices is on our blog:
