Maryville University has a long history of supporting the use of technology on campus. Due to this there are a lot of different technologies available to faculty, staff, and students. See below for a description of the different types of technologies supported by Learning Design & Technology
Desire2Learn (D2L):
Desire2Learn is the Learning Management System (LMS) in use at Maryville. It offers a platform for instructors to post class announcements, share learning materials, manage online discussions, collect assignments virtually, conduct assessments and track grades online. For more information, including help documentation, training videos, and information on training opportunities, please visit the Desire2Learn (D2L) page.
LDT Supported Technologies:
Learning Design and Technology (LDT) supports the campus in the use of technology in the classroom. To view a complete list of the technologies LDT supports, please visit the LDT Supported Technologies page.
Supplemental Classroom Resources:
In addition, we at LDT recognize that sometimes Faculty like to use tools and find resources that are “outside” of Maryville’s realm. To assist with this, we have a list of supplemental classroom resources that we at LDT feel are a great value. To view this complete list, please visit the Supplemental Classroom Resources page.
