6th Year DPT Students defended their research on Tuesday, April 14 and Wednesday, April 15 in the University Auditorium.
5th year DPT students, Dylan Callier and Taylor Chambless, successfully presented at the Experimental Biology 2015 Conference in Boston, Massachusetts on March 30th. EB is the largest annual anatomical conference within the United States with over 14,000 scientists and exhibitors. Dylan and Taylor were sponsored through Maryville University and the American Association of Anatomists to present their poster titled “An Exploration of Learner-Centered Teaching and the Impact on Physical Therapy Students Teaching a High School Anatomy Summer Program.” This poster described a project where Maryville University physical therapy students volunteered to teach an anatomy program and how the experience impacted their confidence levels.
6th year Doctor of Physical Therapy students attended the MPTA (Missouri Physical Therapy Association) Lobby Day in Jefferson City on February 24, 2015.
