Now being home and having some time to reflect I truly appreciate and am thankful for the opportunity I had to go work this game in San Antonio. I know I can speak for myself and probably all the interns that we had a great experience in Texas. This was an opportunity that showed me just how much it takes to put on an event of this magnitude.

After being gone for 9 days and having the chance to be a player liaison I had a great time. I had to make sure all my 28 players were where they were suppose to be at the correct times. From making sure we went to practice on time or getting up at 3:30 on Sunday to make sure they caught their shuttle to the airport on time. It all was a great experience especially since my team won. Go Texas Team! The best part about this was how our players recognized and told us that they appreciated everything we did for them. Ya, they might have complained, but they knew we were doing our job and it meant a lot for them to say that. In addition, being able to call a lot of them friends now and being able to keep in touch with them will be cool considering most could become NFL players.

Lastly, I have said it before but will say it again this was an invaluable experience that went by so fast. The past 9 days went by so quick and it seems like yesterday I was leaving to go to San Antonio and now I am already back. I would like to personally thank all the interns and the staff at the game. We all made it a great time to be there and in a short amount of time a small family. Finally, I would just like to thank Jason Williams, Mark Salamans, Kenny Hansmire, Tami Spencer, Bret Phillips and anyone else in the NFLPA staff for the opportunity to come help and am already looking forward to next year!
