We are excited to welcome you to Maryville University! Although move-in may look different this year, we are here to make your experience as smooth as possible.
New international students who will be residents on campus will be moving in on Thursday, August 20th or Friday, August 21st, depending on the day assigned. For students who need to move in earlier, they may do so on Sunday, August 16th, subject to approval. Find more about move-in on our orientation website. Let us know about your travel plans as soon as it is available by filling out this arrival form. We will have Residential Life support to direct you on all move-in days during business hours. Please try to arrange your travel plans accordingly.
Unfortunately, due to Coronavirus restrictions, we prefer that you move in on one of the above mentioned days, however, should you have flight cancellations or delays, or arriving after business hours, please inform us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If arriving late and you or your parents need a room, you may use the Maryville promotional rate at Marriott St. Louis West by booking through this link.
We will provide you with a small package of immediate necessary items, such as a pillow, bed sheets, a blanket, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, etc., until you have time to go shopping for your room. If you are a resident student, you should find these items in your room when you check-in. If not, please let us know by emailing email@example.com and we can get a package to you.
COVID-19 Testing Requirement:
All residential students and student athletes (as required by the NCAA) are required to be tested at Maryville for COVID-19 between Thursday, August 20 and Sunday, August 23. Maryville has arranged for free testing on campus during these days in the Simon Athletic Center Gymnasium. The tests are administered by In House Physicians, a company comprised of a team of medical doctors who administer the Abbott ID rapid COVID-19 test. The test is conducted on a nasal swab and results are returned within 15 minutes.
For residential students, the test will be completed prior to moving into University housing. Specific instructions for your test time will be provided when you arrive on campus for the move-in appointment previously communicated.
We have also created a helpful Move-In Checklist to help you prepare for your arrival and to guide you once you’re here. Please read this Checklist carefully, since it has vital information.
