Nursing Video Wins Award
The Foundations of Public Health Nursing class, taught last spring by Lisa Sitler RN, MSN, recently created a video that was recognized on Health Hawk’s “50 Excellent Public Health Videos.”
The video, first shared on youtube.com, was created by Alisa Ruhl, Margie Moss, Rose LaVallee, Debbi Smith and Bob Vlum as the students’ final project. It includes a series of snapshots of places in the community that support or neglect public health. Each place or thing is marked with a bright red sticker that reads “This is public health.”
