Grant Supports ‘Young Scholars’ Program

Student Group Promotes Organ Donation
STL BUDS – Sign The List; Buckle Up; Drive Safe, a non-profit organization created by students in Prof. Karen Tabak’s Accounting for Non-Profit Organizations course, encourages students to sign the back of their driver’s license in order to join the organ donor registry. Carroll Records First Win as Saints Coach
The Maryville University men’s basketball team defeated non-conference opponent, Principia, 65-47, on Nov. 13 in Moloney Arena. With the win, Coach Kevin Carroll recorded his first collegiate victory as head coach as the Saints tallied the second-best Division II era shooting percentage. [more …]

OT Students Publish ‘This I Believe’ Essays
Reflective essays written last spring by second-year students of Ashlyn Cunningham, assistant professor of occupational therapy, have been published on the This I Believe website. Cunningham modeled the assignment on the 1950s radio program This I Believe, that has been revived in recent years on National Public Radio.
