Heritage Video Project features Maryville memories, fascinating new stories

on September 14, 2012 by Janet Edwards

More than a dozen new videos of alumni and friends of Maryville University have been added in the past academic year to the Heritage Video Project.

When you’re back on campus, please stop by the Heritage Room, located inside the President’s Conference Center in the lower level of Gander Hall or in Pfaff Lobby, outside Maryville Auditorium, and try out the touch screen that brings up these video stories. Maryville now has more than 30 videos in the collection.

These videos are a wonderful way to learn more about unique Maryville stories. We hear from alumni who lived through major historical events while enrolled at Maryville, from people who tell us about a lesson at Maryville that changed how they thought, from those who met the love of their life while a Maryville student.

The Heritage Room, which opened last year, contains furniture, photos and artifacts that illustrate Maryville’s rich history. And spend a few minutes with the digital touch screen, and we think you’ll be touched by the memories shared and the enduring spirit of the Maryville community.
