The Tom Hill Institute presents author William Paul Young at Maryville University, where Young will give a reading from his latest book Cross Roads, take part in a question-and-answer session and sign books, available for sale at the event from Left Bank Books. Young will appear at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13 in the Maryville University Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
Cross Roads tells the story of Anthony Spencer, an egotistical, self-made business success who suffers a cerebral hemorrhage, leaving him comatose in a hospital ICU. He soon finds himself in a surreal world that mirrors dimensions of his earthly life, from the beautiful to the corrupt. A series of vivid interactions with others may lead him to authenticity and even redemption.
Young has a devoted following of readers from his earlier work The Shack, the story of a man lifted from dispair through life-altering encounters with God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
